I have a large yucca plant with lots of small shoots, is it possible to cut these off to make new plants?

Yuccas can be propagated from the sucker the growths that appear around the base of the plant.

In early spring carefully scrape the soil from around the suckers and if any have roots detach them.

Put the suckers in small pots of a suitable cutting compost and grow on until planting out time.

Yuccas can also be propagated from root cuttings in the winter.
