Slug Resistant Plants

Many herbaceous plants can be susceptible to slug and snail attack, although some are less prone than others.

Slugs and snails tend to avoid any plants that are tough, hairy and bitter, and plants with pungent-smelling foliage.

This list should be only treated as a guide, because in some instances, they will attack some of these plants if their favourite varieties are unavailable.
